South and North Island games are held each year in early January for the 7 – 14 year old grades. The South Island 2010 games are being held here in Timaru on 15, 17, & 17 January.
Competition is over 3 days. The games are run like a mini Olympic games with a Team March Past on Day 1. Medals are presented to 10 – 14 yr grades and ribbons and pennants presented to 7 – 9 yr grades on a podium for place getters.
Athletes can enter a maximum of four events plus a relay. The relays are selected by Club Team Managers (and relay fees paid by the Club).
Cost: $4.00 per event
Entries: Must be in to the Junior Convenors no later than 18 November.
