South and North Island games are held each year in early January for the 7 – 14 year old grades. The South Island Colgate Games are being held in Nelson 13th, 14th & 15th January 2012.
Competition is over 3 days. The games are run like a mini Olympic games with a Team March Past on Day 1. Medals are presented to 10 – 14 yr grades and ribbons and pennants presented to 7 – 9 yr grades on a podium for place getters.
Athletes can enter a maximum of four events plus a relay. The relays are selected by Club Team Managers (and relay fees paid by the Club).
Cost: $5.00 per event
Entries: Entries to be in by mid November. Closing date to be advised.
This is a very exciting meet and the children love it. You won’t be disappointed!
